Bronze bust of Yvon Deschamps

On July 27, 2023, a bronze bust of Yvon Deschamps was unveiled during a gathering at the Centre Yvon Deschamps in Montreal. Yvon and Judi warmly welcomed my partner and me, enthusiastically showing us around the centre, which is an absolute gem in the city.

We were truly impressed by the extensive facilities made available to those who were so in need of them. The centre features a swimming pool, library, training rooms, classrooms, gymnasiums and more, all occupying several floors. This remarkable project became a reality thanks to the generous support and donations of many individuals, as well as the dedication of Yvon and Judi, who have been involved with the centre for many years.

A bust of Yvon will be displayed at the entrance of the centre to honour his contributions and celebrate this man with a big heart!
