Rosanne Pomerleau is undoubtedly a perfectionist. Each one of her creations is the result of extensive research, study and experimentation, ensuring her work meets both her own high standards and those of her clients. From the initial drawing board to the photo shoot, every detail—whether it pertains to the model or the completed piece—receives careful attention, clearly expressing Roseanne’s innermost thoughts.
“Whether in public or private spaces, art plays a crucial role in conveying its message and unique beauty across time and space,” she says. “It’s vital for me that my work resonate with viewers, sparking excitement and forging connections between art, history and people.”
Rosanne creates busts of deceased individuals, using photographs and conducting posing sessions with the client in her studio when possible. Her busts and statues are made of clay, which allows her to achieve remarkable precision. Afterward, Rosanne casts her works in bronze, resin, Hydrocal or other materials as needed.
